Encore has been performing since 2004 as a bespoke vocal and instrumental business, providing live music for a variety of events such as weddings, anniversaries, proms and parties.

Our Musical Director, Simon, arranges the majority of Encore’s musical accompaniment, writing the backing tracks himself in his own studio and using genuine instruments or sampled sounds (NOT relying on commercially-produced backing or synthesised instrumental sounds, which can be of a much lower quality). This method of working allows him to create backing for a wealth of musical genres, from disco and rock ‘n’ roll, to classical and musical theatre. It also ensures that we can include your favourite songs, however unusual or diverse! A selection of songs that have been previously requested is available for you to listen to on this website.

Simon also writes and performs his own songs, some of which you can hear on www.myspace.com/simoncalver2.
